10 Presbyterian Village Good Samaritan Fundraising Event, Chicken Dinners 4:30 to 7:30pm, Live auction in the garage at 5:30pm, Entertainment with Pat Harry in the dining room from 5:30 to 6pm, Drawing for a cruise for 2 at the end of the auction (need not be present to win), Chicken Dinners are $7 in advance and $8 at the door (very limited number at the door), Opportunity to win the cruise tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10, All proceeds remain in Fort Scott to assist those with financial need to help pay for their care in a Christian based, not for profit, independent and assisted living community.  Tickets are available now at the Fort Scott Presbyterian Village 2401 S. 26-28 Fort Scott National Historic Site, "Highlights in History", Each holiday weekend during the summer, Fort Scott comes to life with the sights, sounds, and smells of a frontier fort in the 1840's.  Programs and tours highlight important episodes of Fort Scott history while special presentations commemorate the significance of each holiday.
