Cooking class @ life+style, Downtown Fort Scott:  Jumpin' Jambalaya with Nancy Swanwick, 6PM ($20 per person):  Nancy is one of our star students and she'll step around to the other side of the counter to show us how to prepare this Cajon favorite.  It's a rice centered dish, similar to paella, and Nancy will jazz it up with bacon, smoked sausage and shrimp.  Be prepared for a spicy delight!  Pre-paid reservation required, call 223-2915.
